That is a BIG turbo for a CA! Way too big for an otherwise stock engine. If you're looking for an upgrade turbo without upgrading anything else I'd get a t25 from an SR.

Plus that kit is infamous for having problems with the turbo clearing the MC....

umm if you want to do things right the first time, try to buy quality turbos.

I think what everyone is trying to say is that a big turbo is always good if you have the right set-up. Sometimes if you have the money it's hard to do the things you need to do instead of what you want to do. If you just got the motor you should get it checked out. Before you go spending a bunch of money figure out your goal. 250hp, 300hp,400hp what is your goal. Once you figure out the hp goal then it will be easier to get the right parts. You may have to get new pistons, MAF, engine management, injectors, etc... It's hard for someone to just say "Get it" without knowing your hp goal.

im not really as interested in getting high horse power as i am in getting the car tuned well...i mean if i had to have a goal...225-250 is fine...hell thats actually way more than i plan on anyway heh...well...i know that most people consider anything under 250 too low...so lets go with that figure(250)...but hell if i cant get it there thats fine :-)

what i was planing on doing was getting the CA/a new turbo/manifold/FMIC/custom exhaust(3 inch)...and thats about where i get stuck cuz i really dont know what else would be the right thing to go to next...i wanna get a Z32 maf put on...but wouldnt i have to change/reflash the ECU? and theres really no reason to change anything on the fuel side of things cuz im not going to be upping the boost much at all...but does going to the sr turbo(which one of those should i get anyway??) going to need bigger injectors/fuel pump/regulator? or should i jus do these parts anyway? and if i did would i even be able to turn the boost up anyway without having new pistons/rods? heh im just a big n00bie when it comes to turbo engines...

OK, well if you're not interested in high HP, then those kits DEFINITELY aren't what you want. Those are pretty darn big turbos and should support well over 350HP.

For 250HP, I would get a FMIC, Hard suction pipe, Air Filter, 3" Turbo back exhaust, BOV/Recirc Valve, SR T25,450cc injectors, Z32 MAFS, Walbro high flow fuel pump, NISMO Fuel pressure regulator, ECU flash for injectors and MAFS, and a SAFC to fine tune with.

I know it seems like a lot, but with this setup, you've got plenty of head room for expansion, it would be VERY reliable, and make for a pretty quick car.

If you wanted to go with a 550cc injector and a GT28R/S15 SR T28, you'd be good to almost 300hp. Past this I would consider standalone/emanage/power FC, and perhaps some forged pistons.

In all honesty, I think the basic setup that I laid out before should be on everyone's car. It takes care of all of the basic limitations of the Stock CA, and leaves you lots of room for expansion.
