I have a s13 sr and I just upgraded my turbo to a s15 (t28) with HKS actuator, i also upgraded injectors to 550cc...heres my question:-is it normal that the injectors make more noise? i hear them loud, and they are working perfect, i just wanna know if is normal?

-also, i havent had the chance to get tuned, so is it safe to drive the car like that?? or should i just wait?

-a friend told me to smell the oil, and if it smells like gas then i should change the oil and not drive it, true or false?

as of now the car is sitting i dont even wanna drive it because ive heard is not safe until it gets tuned, can i just used the stock injectors until i get tuned or is this a bad idea?

any advice is welcomethank u

God Bless

If you've upgraded the injectors, you have to get a tune (rom-tune, standalone, safc, something). Replace the bigger injectors with the stock ones and keep the boost set low (7psi or less) and try to stay out of boost until you can get it tuned for the larger injectors. Or better yet, don't drive it at all, get it towed to a shop with a Dyno to get it tuned.

is it normal that the injectors make more noise? i hear them loud, and they are working perfect, i just wanna know if is normal?---yea bigger injectors tend to be louder-also, i havent had the chance to get tuned, so is it safe to drive the car like that?? or should i just wait?--yea u can drive it fine

-a friend told me to smell the oil, and if it smells like gas then i should change the oil and not drive it, true or false?---that makes no sense

as of now the car is sitting i dont even wanna drive it because ive heard is not safe until it gets tuned, can i just used the stock injectors until i get tuned or is this a bad idea?----you can drive it on tha 550's will run liek **** thou.....i would just stay on tha stock injectors till u get to tha dyno(easy enough to swap out wen its time to tune) you should have nooo problems boosting on tha stock injectors for a stock 7psi and shell run fine...i have a friend runnin a gt2871 wit his stock injectors as a daily driver till his bigger ones come in with no problems it just raised tha duty cycle

If you smell gas in the oil either your running to rich our you have a leaky injector. Basicly fuel is leaking past the valves past the rings and into the crank case, hence you smelling gas in your oil.
