ok this is something that i would like to talk about. I dont know much about turbo trims...if you know anything about trims and whats the best sizes to run for which applications. I am going to be doing some research about this tonight but if you have anything to throw it that might help me or others wondering this go for it

I did some research a while back and kinda made up a little list of things to consider. First, use the formulas to get the flow numbers for your application, then look over some compressor maps and find the right compressor for you. Next, decide what you use your car for and how you want your boost. You need to actualy do this part first because it equates into the compressor maps and formulas because your turbine size affects when your boost comes on and how strong it comes on. I chose a 46 trim t3/t04e with a .6 back housing.

If you can, pick up a copy of Maximum Boost by Corky Bell, an informative read with some great tips.

I wrote a program to help with reading the compressor maps. You put in your RPM points and the desired boost level and engine size and others. I anyone wants it e-mail me and I'll send it. [email protected]
