Turbo trade?

I have a to4e(t4) on my KA24de, no oil seeping out, minimal shaft play, no boost leaks or anything, its in pretty good condition. Im selling my car on C list and some guy texts me asking to trade his t28 with jbs bottom mount manifold for mine, he says he doesnt know how many miles are on it but theres no shaft play and nothing wrong with it(it sounded like he doesn't know a lot about cars since he kept saying the turbo was a "skyline turbo" and didnt know what T28 was when i told him). Think i should check it out? If i do what are some things to look for besides checking the shaft, or oil anywhere. I kinda want to try a new turbo, the t4 is to big for my 8psi and i think the t28 is a little bit smaller.
