i got this turbo sitting in my garage.. and i like to know what kind of power it will make for my RB25DET..?? from SSAutochrome..com..

1. power? 2.lag? 3. spool time?

spec on the turbo.T04 " O " T3/T4 .70 A/R TURBINE HOUSING Turbine Wheel:Exducer: 2.54"Mayor : 2.89" Compressor Wheel:Exducer: 2.23"Mayor : 3.31" Turbine Housing:70 " DIVIDED TANG FLANGE

looking for around 350 to 400 HP..

be VERY carefull ordering a turbo from them. they are knock off turbos not the real thing. if you are looking for longevity and reliability spend the money and get a real one. not their crappily produced knockoff.

as for power lag and spool time, thats gonna be dependant on your power goals.

i've put over a thousand miles on my turbo and manifold from them although the manifold had to be modified to fit onto the motor

my cousin has a ss autochrome kit t3/t4 in his car and it runs 8psi daily driver in texas with heat and has had no problems or issues. Take a lil while for the boost to come on but when it does. GOD d-mn it is fast. Kept up with my rb untill 5th gear. have been very impressed with the kit since the install 4000mi ago. And yes we know the manifold will crack someday. but the turbo is damn good.

hey i'd be very wary of them, i have seen a honda guy what had the compressor housing fall off because they glue it together,But reality hit when a kid doing a 3.8 V6 camaro bought one of those Turbos and the compressor fell off within a week of starting the car he had to buy a whole new compressor housing and wheels

yes, I got this turbo from my cuz.. and he was not too happy with the lag.. but it does pull hard when it kicks in.. it looks good over all and it is twice as big as my stock turbo.. no one have answer my questions yet?

dude read closer

power lag and spool time are gonna be dependant on how much boost you can run and what your goals are.

i.e. if you can only run 10 lbs its gonna spool alot quicker than if you can run 17lbs.

we need more info before we can answer that.

I have a friend who has gone through 3 SSA turbos, keeps getting chips on the compressor wheels.

This is in the past year alone.

Those numbers really don't make a lot of since... What is a Mayor? If it's suppose to be the Inducer side then the compressor numbers have something wrong since the Exducer should be bigger than the inducer...

I'd pass on this turbo if I was you...

If the exducer is the compressed air outlet and the mayor is the air inlet than those measurements can be correct can't they? I have two turbos in my garage that have a larger air inlet than outlet on the compressor side.

I think the word was suppose to be "major" not mayor... and I doubt that the exducer is bigger than the inducer... wouldn't make a lot of since.

Yeah i was looking at ssac turbos too but for 250 more i might as well get a Garrett
