turbo timer wont release key

Ok i just installed a DEFI boost HUD and turbo timer, its awesome very accurate for boost, and i installed the turbo timer, but for some reason while car is timing it wont release, i own a s13, and before you can remove key you need to push a small button, but while car is timing i cannot push button to remove it, so it makes no sense to own a turbo timer.

its got something to do with us being auto, i think that while power is to the ignition, key cant bee released

well there is a little switch, right next to the button you must push to release the key flick it up, i might just jam that mofo in the up position cuz when u turn key to the accessory position it will just go back down

theres a white wire for the shift lock that comes from the turbo timer. try running that white wire down to one of the wires on the shift lock moldule near the clutch pedal, im going to try it tonight. see if it works i'll let u know thanks

what switch? do u have to take off the column cover? take a pic for me dude.

sigh into aim and msg me stricnynel0s, just take off th upper and lwoer cover on steering column, aand right next to the push in button is a lil switch that flicks foward when car ign is on, just jam it so it stays up
