My HKS Type 1 Turbo Timer wont let my key out of my ignition on the shut down, once timer is shut down it'll let it out. Does anyone know why this happens and how to correct this issue? I tryed searching through yahoo but nothing of any use came up.

It is a 93 240sx convertible so it was AUTO. Anymore info needed just let me know or look at the build link in my Signature.

Thanks guys

Check the wiring manual that came with the turbo timer and make sure you wired it correctly per the service manual: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/

And we have to triple post and have a huge signature why???

Garage did the install and they are still searching for the issue

Triple post Because
The masses view the 240sx general
The knowledgable view the Tech
The people who have Verts may have had the same issue

AND the pics look like crap smaller but I will put it side by side so it's not long

i actually did mine myself and have this issue. there are really 2 ways you can fix it, 1 which is easy for me because my steering column cover is semi loose is there is a lillte lever in there that once the ign is off it goes up and unlocks the key, i just push the lever up and pull the key out, thats what i do, the other fix is in the wiring. its been months but if you have the installation manual it shouldnt be hard to figure out which wire it is. if you do, and still need help let me know.
