Turbo Timer wiring problem

Last week I was pulling out the rats nest of leftover wiring from the previous owner of my car in the center console. The car is without a stereo, so I took out that harness and wrapped up those wires out of the way and everything was fine.

Next day I realize my turbo timer (HKS Type 0) in auto mode counts up continuously and fairly quickly, but does not count down when I pull up to stop lights or am driving slowly through town as it usually does.

My question...what wire did I unintentionally get rid of? I looked through the install manual and I'm not sure which of the three wires controls this function
