turbo timer

i just bought a new hks turbo timer type-o. do i have to buy an additional wiring harness for it to work?

Yes. You have to have the harness to splice into your ignition. They cost about 15 bucks or so. Then all you have to do is plug it in, hook up the ground and power, then connect the parking brake wire. Pretty easy. About 15 minutes.

No, you don't absolutely need the plug-in harness, but it makes the job alot easier. You can just splice into the car's existing wiring if you know what wire is what. Also besides the parking brake wire, for the HKS type 0 you also need to hook up the rpm signal wire.
