About a month ago i bought a Pivot Turbo Timer. Today i found out that there is no way the HKS harness will work with it. So basicly i need to figure out which wire is what and how do i go about splicing them in. Also, if someone has done hardcore splicing w/o harness, i'd need some instructions... or at least FSM page scans of the ignition setup... but that's not as important right now.

So first of all.... if someone has a Pivot TT instructions somewhere or knows the color coding... plz plz plz post here.

Now, here is what i have coming out and what i'm guessing from tts of other companies:1. black - ground2. red - power3. green - ignition4. yellow - second ignition (? someone tell me wtf this is)5. orange - speed sensor (?)6. blue - accessory (?)7. grey8. brown

One of these is supposed to be a parking brake safety feature, but i have no clue.... So any guesses on which one of these 8 is which (as i'm not sure on any single one except the black one) will be appreciated. Thanx.

PS. I know this should go somewhere turbo related, but i'm not sure where...

ok don't quote me on this but it will be a good start... you need a test light, find the wires coming out of your ignition, where the key goes in.. then with the key off start poking wirtes with the test light, when it lights up turn the key through the whole cycle to start, but don't start the car, well you could but you just need to tap it in the sart position, if it stays lit all the way through the cycle this is your power..now for ignition turn the key to the on position, and you need to find the wire that has power only when the key is turned to start, that is your ignition wire, now i believe the second ignition is the wire that has power when the key is in the on position and start position, that should be the basics to get the timer running and working properly, well you have to ground it too, as far as the other wires i'm not sure i know one prob goes to the e brake and one to the speed sensor signal, hope this helps a little

I'm getting hints that yellow is second ignition and that either grey or brown are parking brake safety... which wires do i need to actually run the turbo timer?
