I bought a blitz turbo timer and from what I can tell from their webpage they don't make a harness for the 240sx.I read on a few pages that the wiring harness for the HKS timer also works with greddy and blitz units but the plug on the end has to be cut off and hardwired in.I guess my question is, is this really necessary since if you're cutting the plug from the HKS harness and hardwiring it, isn't that just what you would have to do anyways with just the wires anyways from the blitz unit making purchasing the HKS harness pointless?Maybe i'm just totally lost and or dumb.

HKS harness does not work with GReddy. I have a GReddy Turbo timer, and I had it installed the regular way, by splicing wires, etc. Only took the guy about 45 mins.

robbby, no its not absolutely necessary, you can always cut and solder, just make sure you get a good joint. also look at the install faq's on 240sx.org website for some neat step by step on a blitz time.

I was the one that posted the how to with the blitz timer, and hks harness. I did this because no harness worked with the 240..... But the reason i did this was i spliced the harness, not my factory wiring. So this way i can unplug and still have factory wiring, so to me its worth the 10 bucks.
