Does anyone have pics of a turbo timer and/or boost controller installed in the dash pocket/ tray?

Thanx

i'm not too sure of what you're talking about; is that in an S13 or an S14? tell us where it is located in the car

Do you mean in the center console where the ashtray / cup holder is in an S13? I was actually considering putting mine there, but I don't know yet.

Its a 1 DIN size tray/pocket that is under the radio. If you have a bose in an s14 then you probably dont have it.

My friend has an s14 with a aftermarket headunit in the top DIN slot and en empty 1 DIN sized "pocket" underneath. Im talking about the pocket.

if i get stuff like that then i will probably never get around to mounting it somewhere. i will just leave them sitting around with wires hanging out the back. that's how all of my projects end up. i never finish them, and i just start on something else. that's why i think i'd be scared do the sr swap myself. although that won't happen, i'll have my auto class to help. that will go fast. i can't wait damnit. after christmas i'll have enough money. i can't wait until i get my tax money back!!! i've noticed that i keep typing too much tonight.

I have that empty pocket too in my S14 and it does seem like a great place to mount gauges.

HKS also makes a panel that will hold 3 of their 46mm guages, if you dont have any electronics to mount. Check them out at http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=660

If someone with an S14 is doing a blacktop S14 SR swap they can put in the stock JDM center guages.

has anyone ever installed that hks panel? it looks like it would fit perfectly in the lower opening where the tape deck used to be

Probably not. As you can tell, when you searched for this thread, its 1.5yrs old, so I'm assuming nobody has done them "yet".
