Turbo Timer acting up a bit

I received an older model HKS turbo timer with my clip, so I figure why not go ahead and use it. The turbo timer harness that came with the clip plugs straight in to my S13's ignition harness, and the turbo timer works great except for one thing. I can't remove my key from the ignition until the turbo timer shuts the car off. This kinda defeats the purpose of having the timer if I can't remove the key and get out of the car while letting it run.

There's one wire on my turbo timer harness I haven't hooked up to anything. It's a white wire with a connector on it like the one for the parking brake wire. Does this need to be hooked to something to let me pull the key out of the ignition when the car is still running off the timer?
