so here it is. . .therory time. So I had a 94 altima, which has the same KA24DE as a 240sx. The only thing different is that it is mounted differently. So here is my question. . . Can i turbo my altima with about the same money it would cost to turbo a 240? would the manifolds fit? This would make (in my oppinion) one of the biggest/best sleepers around. . . imagine the nsport kit. . . a stock looking altima blowing away an s2000, a mustang, camaro. . etc. AND, i can put friends in the back. . . . one more thing. . . .could i change the drivetrain in the altima to be RWD (with the 240sx chasis components?)thanks for helping me create a great sleeper,FlashPS-the altima forum isnt worth ****, thanks for helpin me out

I'm not sure about turboing your KA, but I am pretty sure the RWD conversion would be way more expensive than you think/wish.

For the right price, anything can be done.

Umm yeah, all this is pretty much out of question. especially the RWD idea. It would involve pretty much building a new car, seeing as how just about everything in an altima sits in the way of the driveline. And the turbo kit would just need to fit in the engine bay, I don't know how that would work, and the NSPORT kit has lines and fittings and such that are meant to fit certain 240s, not altimas. Although they are all KA24DEs, there are some differences that would make it a huge pain in the ***. But hey, with enough money, anything is possible.

Thank you guys and girls for your input. The f-max kit is looking good. I emailed them for power figures. Ya, that rear wheel drive thing was crazy, but i was hoping it was possible. ehh, whatever. now i have to decide whether i want to get an altima, and put my buddies in the back and have a sleeper. or get a 240 and be able to drift. . . .

because drifting is "tight"...?

240s are performance cars which much more capability than just to drift
