I recently acquired a T25 R33 GT-R turbo. It has no shaft play front to back but about 1mm up and down. I've torn down the turbo and managed to remove the compressor housing, integral wastegate, and compressor wheel. During the teardown, I've run into a roadblock. I could not remove the turbine housing bolts since they are all in very tight clearances with the cartridge. In addition to this, I am unable to remove the shaft and turbine wheel despite being able to remove the compressor wheel and the lock nut. I had an IHI turbo from a Ford Probe Turbo and was able to take it apart w/o problems (shaft, wheels, housing, cartidge, etc.). I want to tear it down further for a DIY rebuild without breaking anything.

Anyone care to help?

**David
