you need to get a better idea of what your goals are. the highest output turbo i've seen on an sr is the hks t51r kai. most folk use a gt2871r which is a very good match to the flow rates off an sr. best for drifting, if you mean best response/power go with the 2871r

what about a 3582r? by garrett? how much power would that add to a stock sr do you think?

i think you need to get a better idea of what your goals are first before jumping on turbos.

you do realize the larger the turbo, the longer it takes to spool. the longer it takes to spool, the less responsive it is. now with that said, the biggest turbo i've seen in a sr was the t51r kai. It's in the 42 family of turbos by Garrett, that turbo started to boost at 5k on a 2.2L stroked engine and made about 600-700 with other minor work compared to the stroker and the turbo. you want to drift either you're gonna need more displacement than that 2.4L crower kit you were making a post about earlier to get a better response out of this turbo. The 2.4L kit and the gt35 might be a better bet, but that's something you should consult with your tuner after getting the engine flow rates.

you should just use a GT88, you know the one that goes on 1000hp supra

just kidding, I think you shoudl just go with what is proven.... either a S15 turbo or other GT T28 turbos such as already mentioned gt2871r, gt28rs and stuff like that
