Where the hell are you guys getting your turbo studs from? The m10 x 1.25 x 35mm ones (guessing length) that hold the turbo the manifold? I have the nissan PNs at home but wondering if there is an interchange for another car that I pick up at Napa/Checkers/Autozone locally... If not I'll be ordering online, just wondering what you guys are doing... Haven't seen a thread on this topic yet so let's start one!

K.I.S.S.Go to your local fastener store and pick up the commensurate studs and nuts. They are not made of unobtainium that require "factory" replacements. I use the "Fastenall" store locally.

My local fastner shop didn't have anything useful in 10x1.25 size.

Found another local store that does carry this size, picking some up tomorrow...

you dont have to use that exact size. find any stud and match the nuts up to that stud size

Go to Ace Hardware, there are some in your area. They have harden carbon studs/bolts in metric sizes

The manifold is tapped for m10 1.25. Anything longer than 42mm will hit on the turbine housing or the 5 bolt flange. So unless I redrill/tap the manifold, m10 1.25 42mm studs it is...

Thanks for that tip, I'll try there tomorrow. I'll be surprised if they actually have what I need, I went to nine stores today, closest I found was 30mm; nobody else even had m10 1.25s...

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

They aren't perfect/identical, the stockers are 42mm long with 15mm threaded sections with a 12mm non threaded area. These should work though! Hope this thread helps someone else ---

Old thread but great info! Changing out my exhaust/turbo gaskets soon and will definitely pick these studs up if ACE still carries them. THANKS!
