I am still contemplating the turbo size to use and would like to see some figures on turbo size, spool rpm @ PSI, power and max power possible. I am reallying contemplating a smaller large AR T3 but am worried it won't produce much power at the flow rates we need for our engine. Any real life or speculated data would be great.

what type of performance are you looking for?

what i meant was, are you looking for low, mid range, or top end performance? a smaller exhaust a/r will give you excellent low and mid range power, but will choke off performance in the higher rpms. vice versa for a larger turbine. it will have more lag, but will produce more peak power.

imo, there is way to much emphasis placed on how fast a turbo will spool up. no one launches or races at 2000-3000 rpms, so why be concerned with boosting so low? the key is to find the least restrictive turbine for the power and boost you want to run.

Well the more and more I drive my 240, I wonder what will happen if I bought a t3/t4 .63 AR or so would I be in and out of the powerband the turbo would create. I am sure its not a terrible issue but an on rush of power could give me some drivability issues especially as this is my daily driver. I was thinking as long as I am not hitting full boost 5-8 psi after 3500 rpm or so it would still stay a fairly easy to drive car. I also wanted to know what type of difference a compressor makes for full spool 5-8 psi again between a T3-60 .63, T3/T4 .63, and a T04 .57. If there is a large difference in rpm of full boost I would opt for the smaller compressor but if the difference in rpm is not much between the two I would opt for the large T04, as it gives me more possibilities in the future.
