I'd run from a kit that comes with 'fuel/ignition mgmt'. That is the most vague description ever. Did you already buy this without hearing their answer???

No, waiting on their reply first. i asked what type of fuel/timming system, if it was a bottom or top mount mani and a few other things like turbo trim and stuff. this is the turbonetics kit and every where i looked at this kit it listed the same info, jegs, treadstoneperformance, summt. and even turbonetics home site them selfs. EPS just happened to have the cheapest price. a few of my friends have turbonetics turbos on thier cars and they run great.

well wow.for 4.5g you can piece you a REAL good kit and possibly get a motor rebuild..lol..

jgs mani, t3/t4, cheapo fmic, piping, z32maf, 550?inj, ecu tune, walbro, misc lines.probably still not come upto 2g right there..250, 600, 250, 130, 200, 100, 100, 500

then you can get a decent rebuild.. just internals w.o much work DIY, 400pistons, 500 rods..

meh i dunno.4.5 is ALOT for a "kit"

the kits not 4500.00 its 3386.40. with all the misc, parts, t.t, gauges, bc, new exhaus, battery relocation, ect..... i fig it would run about 4500.00 complete sys. even IAP setup runs 3600 and you still need injectors fuel/timming mngm and all the other misc parts that make it work. at least this sys comes with injectors and f/t mngm. but if its not a good setup ill keep looking around. maybe ill go with IAP, injectors and ecu tuned.

You need an S13 ECU. Look under the pricing section at the bottom.http://www.rs-enthalpy.com/ecu.htm

Brian, youre not a big fan of reflashed ECU, are you? Ive only heard you mention SAFC and standalones like Megasquirt.

Yep you can. Just make sure youre MAF adapter and turbo inlet fit the pipe. You can use transition hose couplers on the inlet. I guess you can use one at the MAF, but ive never seen that.

will need to get some odd bends of pipe and fab it up urself..........could also get a muffler shop to do it for u. that's the easiest part of the piping IMO.

Its not that I don't like the ECU flash. Its just that I can't tune it at all. So it won't be whats best for my car. With the SAFCII and MSD BTM combo, I can do whatever I want. MSII or SDS is where my money is going for standalones. MSII is cheap cheap, SDS is mid level but I am familiar with the tuning of it. Its also similar to MSII as far as ease of install.

My next project gets SDS, I honestly haven't read enough about the MSII though to make a better choice at this time.
