Alright to start the fun off. I just got done talking to my buddy and hes giving me a good SR T25, no shaft play, good condition he took it off as soon as he got his motorset to put on a T28, and a VLSD for my GT-Spec exhaust, and today he gave me DSM 450's, im buying a turboXS MBC, and I know I need some kind of FPR and management, What boost can I safely run 15lbs, with the 450's? My freind has a subbie and is using a tactrix cable and a program he downloaded that plug's right into the OBDII port on his WRX, Is there something like that out there for me? I dont know much about tuning so any info and help you could give me would be helpful, Thanks.

Use a ECU upgrade for 444cc injectors, 450 is close enough.Personally I never swap injectors on a T25 set up but up to you, most 444cc programs are made for T28 turbo´s and bigger MAF (AFM) but you might find one for the T25.

Also remember to buy a better fuel pump.

Like the Swede said, you will run out of turbo before you run out of injector with the 450s. And no, there is nothing you can plug into any port to do any tuning. You can get your ECU socketed and you can put a reprogrammed chip in it, but that's about as far as it goes when utilizing the stock computer. And before anyone jumps in, yes, I know you can use the pocket romulator and do on the fly tuning via laptop and Live Edit.

Whats live edit? I have a walboro fuel pump mike, the T25 will only be on there until summer when I can afford a GT28RS.

Yes I can... the GT2871R is the same price and is even available with the Nissan style compressor housing but capable of 400hp and has the same spool up characteristics as the 28RS.

So for the money youre going to be spending on the 28RS, you might as well have spent it on the gt2871r because of these advantages. These turbos arent rebuildable right? Whats the ballpark prices for both of these puppies?

Both are around $1050-$1200 depending on how resourceful you are. And no, they are not rebuildable.

Hey C-rad, do you know if I can still use my stock oil feed and return lines on my SR T25 that I used on the CA one?
