sorry guys for this NOOb question.

My turbo has more than 100k miles. and i have some issues so i just want to rebuild it.

Anybody done turbo rebuild, where did you buy kit? seal and new blade and stuff... I have 1987 Z31 T3.

I have local shop but all they trying to do is rip off customers like me (thinking i don't know anything about car cuz i'm teen? )

Any website or place in socal?

(dealer quated me $1500 dollar for new turbo. noway..)

post some pics of your turbo so we can see what kind of t3 it is.

i was going do the rebuild on my z31 turbo as well but then i found

for and extra 50 bucks over the $100 kit i can have it rebuilt, balanced and everything by a pro....so i'm going to go ahead and spend $150...and send it off....i don't think you can go wrong with that.....

Try calling ATP turbo and asking them for a quote. They're a great place that does excellent work.

No big, I did it with Garrett gear I got on ebay, and it's easy. Had it not been for the ****ty parts dip that I bought, I would have had it done it two hours or less.

never disassembled turbo before. that's why i'm waiting for your write up LOL

Laptop still broken, and I am still broke. I will look on Ebay for a new motherboard now. I have the text, just no pics.
