do yourself a favor and skip the rebuild kit in favor of a new center section, they are made from all new pieces and are only about $400 each, or you rebuild for round $150 each (parts only) and then you get the joy of pulling your motor to replace them after they tank, most professionally rebuilt turbo's don't last long, and unless you have the equipment to ballance at over 100k rpm I recomend against it

Sorry to post this here but you seem like you know alot about the 300z's so i figured why not, the worse you can say is you cant help me:

I'd like to run duel exhaust on my S13 240sx but the off-centered (shifted toward the right/passenger side) gas tank makes this a problem. I don't want to use an intrunk 5gal tank as i would like to save my trunk space. I'm looking toward using another Nissan tank from a car which already uses a duel exhaust setup (as i assume such a tank would be setup to be centered allowing for exhausts to pass on both sides -left and right). Do you know if the 300zx tank would work for my issue?Do you have any ideas for me? Is there another option which i've overlooked which might work out better for me?~All constructive comments and assistance are welcome. Thanks for taking the time to read this and thanks even more for any helpful postings which result~

(p.s. yes i have posted in the 240sx forum also and i apologize to the creator of this thread for starting a new topic in your post)

there is very little play in them but its a jdm engine and i figured it would be easier to go over them out of the car so i should just buy the new center section and i normally go threw z1motorsports for my parts is that a resonible place with pricing and sorry for the pour spelling ha

if there si no play, no signs of leak and no trace of internal oil leakage, go ahead and run them , if they are suspect go ahead and get new center sections, it'll save you lots of headaches later
