Hey, sorry if this is in the wrong forum...

anyway, I have a T25 from my S13 CA18 that had blown seals. I took it to a shop around here for a rebuld and the guy said that it would run me about 250-300 for a rebuild. is this about average, or is that way too much for a rebuild?

Price is good as long as they know what they're doing.

It's a local performance shop, but from what he said, they aren't actually doing the rebuild. He told me that the place they get all their turbos from is who does it for them. So 250-300 for a complete basic rebuild is a fair price?

PS:Dee, I've been meaning to contact you. Cory (PackRat) up in NY told me I should talk to you about the CA18 conversion I'm doing on my Pulsar...

How would you prefer to contact me: Email or phone? Oh yeah, I normally get 'em done for around $275, so the price range is spot-on.

In all honesty, for the price of rebuilding that CA T25, I would find a blown SR T25 and have that rebuilt instead. Its at least a mild upgrade.

I did what he recommends and I also think is the best way to go. I also got one heck of a deal on mine, $120 for the 2nd hand T25G, $75 for the rebuild kit from G-Pop Shop, and $100.00 for the rebuild labor at a local Turbo Shop.

The beauty of living in a 3rd world country, labor is not as expensive I guess, but Im probably underpaid for what I do as well. Oh well.
