barely seems to be alot then, because even if the guy on the bike was 300 pounds the weight ratio is

600 pounds at 160 vs 3200+"your weight" at let say even 400hp

do the math the ratio is crazy apart...

and doesnt R1 do 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds? and depending on how heavy the bike dude is lol?

well even though the R1 can do 0-60 in 3 seconds, doesnt mean that your average rider can do 0-60 in 3 seconds, the average rider would have a hell of a time trying to accomplish that, the front end would be pulling up all the time, sure the r1 can do the 1/4 mile in 10.2 seconds, but like i said the average rider most likely cannot best high 11's, and if dudes turbo coupe can do the quarter in the low 13's to high 12's, if they did a quarter mile race the R1 would only be about 1 second ahead, which in my opinion would be the r1 "barely" beating 08altima35's coupe.

this wasn't from a dig. it was from a 70 roll on up to about 140 and the R1 didn't pass me until i shifted 5th and he got about 1.5 lengths ahead and the road started to shrink with traffic so we both had to let off. gimme two more pounds of boost and I'll beat an R1 from a 70 roll, but will still get owned from a dig. My two friends tailing us in mustangs both thought i won cause we were so far down the road and it was too close to tell from a long distance away. anyway, just sharing a story.

Yes, any bike, especially an R1 with it's tall 1st gear and not too much hp and torque on the bottom end, are hard to launch in a drag race. I've smoked Z06's, a Ferrari 360, and a heavily modded late 60 Camaro with slicks (this car was so loud I thought every cop within 10 miles would be coming for us)... Just on the throttle, the R1 picks up the front end around 70 in 1st gear, at 90 it's damn near impossible to keep the front end down. By that point you're usually so far in front of the cars that it doesn't hurt too much to short shift to second. Now, if it was a roll on, the rider was in the wrong gear. Oh, and I'm no small guy at 250 lbs.

lol, in certain circumstances, like the R1 in the wrong gear, I can believe. However, that number just don't add up if it was a full on race. If Tim's 700hp 350z has trouble with them, I don't see a turbo altima coupe being on the same level

i never said i won the damn thing, i just said from 70 to 140 the bike only pulled about 1.5 car lengths on me and didn't completely own me. that's all!

these videos were taken quite a while back and the car is lowered now. Will post pics of the car after 2nd sat in OCT of it on display at HIN. New Shoes + BodyKit + TurboKit. I actually just got her back and she's posted up in the garage until the show.

appreciate it. gives a true rush to drive this thing. not the fastest car around, but way more power than nissan intended for it and will give plenty of competition to vettes, cobra's, and other expensive high horsepower sports cars that don't know what to think when you pull on them going down the highway. way too much fun!
