I am turboing a ka24de motor and was wondering if I needed to run aftermarket injectors? I will have a fmu. Also what is a good psi to run the turbo? I have a stock motor. I know the bottom end is pretty good but the rings and head gasket?

Theres a pretty blinking red button on the top right side of your screen, get aquainted with it. Im bored at work so ill answer a few of your questions.

-you dont need aftermarket injectors with an FMU, but I suggest looking into some other form of fuel management since an FMU is pretty inferior.

-"A good psi to run" that shows you need to study up but I would say you should start around 6-8 psi on any turbo you happen to get for beginners. just to get used to things. The motor will handle a good amount of power if it has a proper running turbo kit (this means good engine management, not an FMU for one). I would say a safe mount is ~280whp and the motor should last as long as it would have non turbo.

Just to add to what virus was saying so you don't think that is on stock injectors. stock injectors on 280whp will blow up your engine .

For beginners, try 370cc -> usually drop rite in, simple and easy.

And yea man, search.

**also bored at work, but got lots of work to do, uh oh....

u would get larger injectors and some kind of piggyback or fuel management to control em. the sr 370cc injectors are a popular route since they are fairly cheap and readily sourced. The safc and emanage are the top two choices when it comes to controlling those injectors. You should think about what your power goal is and obviously what ur budget can do. Welcome to NICO.
