turbo question

What's the first step in how to turbo my stock 3.0 VG30DE? What are the first things I would need to purchase? Any suggestions?

Uhm, theres a lot to do before you'd think of turboing.

Mainly you should consider switching to a dry cell battery in your trunk to free up space under the hood. Then i'd consider switching to a less restrictive exhaust like the Cattman.

To turbo the engine you'd need new fuel injectors, new spark plugs, new fuel pump, new ECU, Turbo, custom intake/headers, boost controller, waste gate and possibly an intercooler if you wanted to go that route.

Its much easier to supercharge an engine than it is to turbocharge it. You're also looking an alot of money to do this, its not a cheap thing to correctly turbocharge an engine that doesn't normally come turboed.
