ok, my turbo is currently being rebuilt, but the turbine wheel on the exhaust side made contact with the housing and i need a new one. the quote is $405 because of the parts required to fix it. i KNOW this isnt worth it at all, and i could probably get a s15 turbo for a little more, but i need the car running because my other one just had the alternator quit, and i have to charge the battery every night. my question is, does anyone know where i can get a t28 for my ca? i know i can get one in good condition for this price. otherwise the t25 is going back on with an adjustable actuator from hks(makes it slightly less ****ty in my opinion). i would love a t28, but i dont know where to get one, because there are never any on ebay, and i would need to know if it would last me a while. the rebuild comes with a warranty, so at least i know it wont crap out on me. anyone have a almost new t28 in really good condition they want to sell me for 400 bucks or less?

what kind of turbo? 10 days would be good, my alternator suddenly decided to start working again. yay!, anyway, im gonna see if the guy will throw in a t3 compressor housing and stuff for $400, so it might be more worth it. but depending on what kind of turbo and what cond. its in, i think your option is much better. i need an answer soon because i have to tell the guy to rebuild it or not today.

i will eventually want to crank up the boost, so the biggest turbo with a t25 flange i can get my grubby little hands on would be great. also, do the t28s and sr t25s have the oil lines in the same places? i dont want to have to buy ss oil lines or anything because this is going to bankrupt me.
