Okay, i found a good layer of oil inside my compresser last night after a drive. i noticed i was making a good smoke screen behind me. I know i jsut did a head gasket, so theres crap in my engine... most of it looks like it has burned off... but its still got blue smoke. Im voting the turbo might be dead OR my air filter is soaked with oil and its sucking it through that.Either way, im gonna find out soon enough. In the meantime i have an extra turbo from a 300zx z32. The AR is .48 on the compresser side, so its at least the same side as my CA T25. Very clean turbo, minimum shaft play (virtuly no in and out play). Problem is, it needs a 2 bolt flange!!

Simply put, i need a flange for it (air filter side) and i do not know if they are the same style as the SR20 ones??Does anyone know??

I dont have a tape measure.. but the bolt holes are ALMOST as wide as a sega genesis game.

You could swap the Z32 center section into your CA turbo........otherwise the Z turbo wont work because its a 4 bolt output to downpipe.

The outlet on the turbine won't work. It's a 4 bolt, your's is a 5 bolt.

Remember, short-cuts and being cheapy-cheap will result in more labor and down time and possibly a headache as well. You've redone the engine, so you get you a better or rebuilt or even a new snail that suits your application.

Well, after looking at both my turbos... I have come to realize a 300zx turbo is basicly a CA turbo with a differant inlet flange and one bolt missing from the 5 bolt setup. it will fit exactly in place of my CA T25. I looked at both the bolt patterns on the exuast side, exact same aside from the number of holes.

I need this flange, drift ready.. if u got it.. I want it asap. If it can be overnighted or 2 day, I would like it quickly. thank you!

I am not being cheapy cheap. Im in need of my car back, and the only way im gonna fix it is one thing at a time. I narrowed down whats left... the smoked turbo and then a good tune.Since dee mentioned rebuild.. I think while im rocking the Z32 turbo I might rebuild my CA T25. Nothing like haveing extra parts around.
