oil from air filter....??

Doesn't really look bad if you ask me.. my turbo accumulates a slight oily carbon like covering over time as well..

I had a filter on it for a little but not very long, the heat from the manifold ate a few of my filters. The turbo prob has 8k if that miles on it.

The more I think about it the more I can't even remember putting in a oil restrictor for the turbo? I remember taking out the OEM one when I installed the oil feed line. Also my crappy BOV surges at anything under 5psi.

Also, I had a GT3582R on my honda a while back, it would develop the same thing.. never wet oil just a carbon ish like residue..

That car now has a 6265 and i havent driven it enough to notice anything yet..

My JB 6766 on my RB does the same thing overtime.. i think your fine.

For reference - Precision recommends a restrictor on a -4 line, size all depends on pressure.. the more pressure the smaller the restrictor.. i use a .060 on both my cars.

-3 lines require no restrictor

Its not required to use a restrictor, but excessive crank case pressure or a crappy oil return can cause issues.. i used them because my cars see around 80psi of oil pressure.
