Turbo prices?

Im wanting to Turbo my 96 max but the only turbo I found costs more than what I paid for the car itself? $4000even for the car $4500+s&h for the turboCould anyone give me some good links for turbos for my 96(that are for sale)?

You're not going to be able to turbo a 4th gen for much less than that. You could aquire the turbo and ask AutoLab (off Taylorsville Rd) how much they would charge you to fab the piping. But then you would still haqve to get the fuel map and timing.

Maxhopper has got it about right. I've seen a whole turbo setup and tuning for a little over 6 grand. Its not cheap when you start FI.

Yea Ive just got done looking for some cheaper ones but they were all about the same price.Im probably going to wait a while to do it anyway so I can do it myself at collage.
