This is why I love being a part of Nico! We are always a giant leap ahead of the 'other guys'. Its pitiful... they don't even know what a bov does...

There are a couple of guys around here that have fmic's on their civics with no turbo... I saw one guy at Auto Zone who had his connected into his intake manifold... with a air filter on the other side of the ic

btw: that turkey call bov would be awesome on my side of town(villa rica,ga look it up on mapquest... right next to alabama)... just imagine what the rednecks would do!

Go ahead use it in your Sig it's not like I made it up that saying has been around for a long time!

I am going to have an intercooler on my car before the turbo is done because I need to replace the front bumper anyway so i'm doing it at the same time... but i'm not going to hook it up that's stupid and pointless!

I saw an Eclipse with a fake intercooler. Looked like one from the front, but it was only like half an inch thick and had no plumbing going in or out.

Some guys at school got these things off eBay - looked like resonators for their mufflers but they made a pssh sound. It always gave me a laugh when I was in class and the Civic, Neon, and Stratus went by with their fake BOV sound.

The one TT z32 at my school has the nicest sounding BOV...it was freezing this morning but I rode with the window cracked so I could hear it, lol.

Yeah I saw the fake intercooler at my local rice shop... $200 bucks! and the fake BOV was $150... dude it almost costs as much to fake a turbo as it does to get a small setup! Anyway i'm off to install my BOV in my piston so I can let the high pressure out...

there is a Japanese dude around here with a fagged up vert Eclipse that did that, lots of vinyl and spoilers. He rolled past us one night making noise and we knew he didn't have a turbo. I pulled me GTS4 out and bitchslapped him.About a year later I see him tearing around popping a real BOV so I lined up the GTST and backhanded him again. What a stain that guy is

You gave me a bad ideal. When I get another car, I will have to mod the Metro. FAke BOV, One of those intercooler looking CAI's, and one of those retarded Wings on the top like the Civic hatchbacks have (ricer version that is).

Hell I can even get me a fire extinguisher body and paint it lite blue and mount it in the hatch with a hose coming out.

Ahahaha!

You should pull some dual tips off a junkyard SRT-4 and hang them underneath, loose, just for looks.

And you need one of these.

HAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA...I just read that thread...OMG. I about lost it when he said you have to vent pressure from the piston. People can be so missinformed sometimes, then they make themselves look dumber by stating what they thing is correct when it isn't. WOW.

The link to that forum made me very, very sad. Having a car that looks faster than it actually is, is IMO completely lame. I'd rather have a sleeper that could romp on a C6 'Vette than a Civic with a couple grand each in paint, body kit, sound system and huge wheels.

You never saw old hot rodders doing stuff to make a slow car look fast...they made a car that looked fast even faster! The "slower than it looks" are my two big complaints with the Hyundai Tibby and Celica GT-S.
