you'll be fine. This is a very easy operation. What I would do, though, is remove the turbine housing from the CHRA. It has four bolts holding it in and two half moon plates. The half moons are what basically holds it in. If it doesn't slide off easily, which it probably won'y, take a deadblow hammer to it and work your way around the housing tapping it off.
Make sure you have a tap and die set, too. You can pick up some decent ones at Sears. And when you're drilling, drill slowly. If you go fast, you'll burn the bit up. Drill slow enough that you're getting long metal twisties. Usually I speed up till all I'm getting are metal flakes, then I back the speed off bit by bit till i reach the best speed.
As for actual installation. It's way simple.
I prefer to install the outlet outside of the car because two of the bolts are a PITA to get to once the turbo is mounted. It will be a tight fit though because of the steering column and master cylinder.
If you can't get it in that way, take the outlet off and then mount the turbo. Then you'll have to put the outlet on in the car. Start with one of the lower nuts. It's easy to get on if you can have some wiggle room with the outlet. It's the nut/stud closest to the engine. The other PITA one to get to is the top bolt on the engine side.
Also, slather ALL bolts with anti-seize. you'll think yourself if you ever have to pull the turbo again.
If you need anything, shoot me an email and I'll be happy to help you or call you or anything you may need.
