so i think im going to turbo my auto for a couple days.. i had a turbo in my 95 which was totaled so i have everything to do it but an intercooler. and i was only running 7 psi.. i think im going to run like 3-4 psi without an intercooler. and i have everything to do a 5 speed. so im going to do that in a week or so. but just want to know how bad it will be without and intercooler at low psi with a turbonetics t3/t4? let me know what you think. thanks

You can do it, but I'd get a FMIC from eBay and play it safe. Not to mention the benefits are WAY worth it.

you can do it without the intercooler but it will be risky. you will need to run colder plugs, low temp thermostat, vent the hood, etc. whatever it needs to lower the temperature.

is it just the intercooler thats mess up or the piping also? like someone stated above, get an ebay intercooler kit (it's like $200 shipped). although the intercooler is an overkill though. its huge. unless your pushing mad of power.

ya the piping got a lil messed up but its nothing that i cant fix. and i just picked up a set of colder plugs today. so i should be good in that department. also how does the auto transmission hold up to turbo?

whats the point of the risk? why not just wait and keep the car stock till you can do it up right?
