Guys-

I'm new to the CA world and have a few questions.

What kind of options are there for turbos? What kind of flange does the stock manifold use? I have heard of many T28 off SR cars, but are there any other options? Something that bolts on like stock?

I'm not sure how much power the CA block can handle, but what is something that is daily drivable and reliable? I'm aiming for ~300rwhp, not sure if this is feasible for daily drivability, maybe at lower boost. Friend has a Big T28 from Forced Performance on his SR and would love to have something similar to that! Thanks!

The CA is a T25 just like the SR. Anything T25 internal wastegate is a direct bolt on. I would just suggest the S15 T28 since it is easy to find and is fairly cheap for a BB turbo.

There are some ppl making 'aftermarket' manifolds for the CA so you dont have to be stuck with the stock mani and flange, or you could take a look at the GT turbos I thinks slw240sx has one. You could talk to him about it if he strolls on in to the forums. I think there are quite a few ppl running t28's on here and seem to like them. I dont know if they will get you to 300rwp but I guess it could be doable (not sure) since a member put 277 down not to long ago on 18psi I think. Anyways I hope you like it here and find the threads very informative. WELCOME !

300 on a t28 will be the limits of it , and will be running it out of its effiecncy range, but im not sure its been along time since i was working with one, we did make a hybrid turbo out of mine and joes t28s. we shall see what kinda numbers we can squeeze out of her, me and a friend will be offering him free tuning services and using it to base our line of chips off of.

How are those chips coming along, and if you dont mind me asking about how much would it be for one that could run a z32 maf and 550cc injectors?I saw some on ebay but I dont know if im willing to trust a chip off ebay:D, if I get it from a forum member I can just ask you questions until you get sick of responding :) . well with me being at work at the odd hours im at its hard to make time so its comming slowly, just ask Ian hes been waiting monthes for me.

actually we have the physical chips back in stock i have chips for 550s and z32s , i think the goin rate is 50-200$ im still working out the details on this with my partner, hes stubourn,he wants to charge a high up front price for the chip and initiall programing, but wants to offer retunes for 10-20$ a pop all you need to do is send us dyno charts and we can start a conservitive chip suited to your car. this way we can avoid detonating cars like some mailorder tuner chips tend to do. we want to make sure that you have a ideal program on your car.

ian, email me with all your specs on teh motor. i need MAF, injector size brand and type, cams?, turbo? what type of piggyback your using, fuel pressure your running. everything we want to make sure this thing runs ok. then you will have to dyno right after this.... get baseline chart we will then send you a second chip that is a little better, then you can use the piggy back to make small adjustments where you need to. also i think your in need of a Z32 maf, want to trade that BOV and a lil cash for it??
