Now, I hate ebay. But as a person on a budget because of a love of domestic cars, I was looking on ebay for turbo kits, strut bars, etc. I came up with a few items that I had doubts about quality, fitment, or overall performance.

I realize that these are alot of items, but I am having trouble shopping for turbo manifolds for a KADE. I would put this in the KA-T section, but all I would hear is you are stupid for not buying JDM Drift Tyte $390000 parts. I only threw in the 2.6 for show. That would be nice though.

If anyone has any experience with any of these products, or know of a complete kit for under $1000, I would be most thankful.

The welds on this one/design look pretty good http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

I don't think the cast iron one looks that hot because if it was not done right it can crack easy.

Also the Rb26dett... WAY overpriced 5k...for an engine that they are not giving you exact mileage on... compression etc.. for me to spend 5k on an ebay engine it better be BRAND NEW

yes yes! buy the electric "supercharger"! that'll give ya a lot of hp!, no wait!, put 2 so you can have twin electric superchargers!!!!!!!!!!!11and it'll double yer hp!.

ok now back to earth, ahh...you may not find a turbokit for $1000, you may be able to make your own if you can get some hookups on some stuff and do all labor yourself, some have done it, some were lucky, and you may not know if it'll blow up anytime.

as for the rb26dett, get $10k or so and you can get it pro installed:)

The electric blower was some funny green poop! I laughed so hard when I saw it in the "turbo" section! But, it may work. I'll let you guys find out for me.I can do my own fab work, piping, and oil lines. I have been working on Cummins and Cat diesels in semis for 5 years (part time). I have found a t25 that I can get for $250 with blow off and some little elbow thing that it needs. Turbo runs good, it is off of my friend's TSI. He went to a t28, but traded it for some huge, POS with lots of lag. But when it kicks......

RB26 is another funny. For less than a weeks work, I can put my 410 whp 5.0 Cobra roller motor in my 240. It is PAID FOR!!Another few dollars, and I can put a Paxton centrifugal supercharger and say Skyline Who?

I want a good powered daily driver, but my 240 is a little on the weak side. It is definitely stronger than other NA 4-cyl I have driven. But I need more power to be satisfied. The chassis is capable of holding more power, as are the brakes. I mostly drive spirited back roads, so I am not looking for a drag car, just need to pull out another 30 to 40 mph between turns.

Well I am a welder and I can tell you off the bat that you do not want that stainless steel manifold. Stainless steel expands really fast and makes your engine bay tempratures hotter than usual. (THE WELDS WILL CRACK!)Don't buy anything electric, even at 500CFM, your car makes more than that at WOT. DO NOT buy electric anything, unless built by Eaton. That REV hard is over priced but it is a well made product. Technically those cast mani's go for about $260. They are worth what you pay for. Cast iron gets stronger with heat, and you can surround it in header wrap to keep engine bay temps lower. I would defenitely go with the cast Iron rev hard.
