Man, take it easy. the guy asked a simple question and needed a simple answer. Compared to my old VW car site this one is full of illtempered drivers. If you don't like the question you don't have to respond ya know? Anyways yeah it's possible to Turbo the 240, of course it'll cost ya near 2k to do it.

I think many will agree that a turbo is about the best bang for your buck with the KA. Cheap and faster don't generally tend to hang out together. You may find cheap mods that gain .5 hp here and 2 hp there, but many people want to keep their a/c, and the back seat can be useful sometimes. You don't have to spend 2k on a turbo setup, but you can. Just like you can spend 2k on an sr20det swap. My suggestion: research research research. Figure out what you'd like to have, and only then take a serious look at pricing.

If you do a search on the KA-t forum you will definately find your answer. You can piece it all together and do it yourself with the help of the people on this site and freshalloy for about $1200 and pump out about the same as the SR's at the rear. Good Luck.

this site is here for you to learn about nissans, yes. but we are not here to answer every newbies question about this and that. if you look around the forum you WILL find EVERY answer you are looking for.

Ill tell you right now you will not get a sr20 swap for 2k

skyline motor series are called RB'S for example: RB20DE, RB20DET, RB25DET, RB26DETT, etc

cheap and fast do not go together. sorry

The amount of $$$ you will spend on an SR20DET swap-you might as well put that in your KA and turbo it. You'll get more power from it than a stock SR.
