Guess what happened;So, help guys what can I do to fix this.Should I call someone?Should I do it myself?I have a feeling that Im going to have to pull the engine out in order to do any of this properly

dude you are screwed, you should have never done it you're self in the first place. Take it to a machine shop to see what they can do to fix it, or if they can even do anything to it. Just take it to the pros next time

Ouch. It would seem that you will need to remove the engine from the car and take it to a machine shop to have them weld that back together and re-tap it.

Some of you remember this major screw up I did while trying to tap the oil outlet for the turbo. I basically mangled it and snapped it.

SO i thought I would share on how I fixed it.First heres what you will need1) Rotary Tool (i used a dremel)2) Grinding Bits(Silicon Carbode/Aluminum Oxide)3) Right Angle Drill4) 6 inch drill bit (7/16")5) 1/4 NPT tap6) 1/4" Pipe Standard thread with threads on both sides7) 1/4" Coupler8) AN Fitting 1/4" to An-49)Pipe Dope(joint Compund)10) Small level to attach to your drill battery

Steps1) Remove exhaust manifold and turbo and everything that could get in your way.2)Spray Liberal amounts of Degreaser on area to grind and then wipe up with some simple Green.3) If you have a steamer, use it and clean the area to be grinded4) PUT YOUR GOGGLES ON. There will be tons of little aluminum shavings in the air. Using your Dremel, or aany other easy to guide grinder...Grind back all the meat on the bottom so you can get to be almost flush with the block. 5) Once you get it to look more or less like this6) Clean the area again really well with some simple green.7) Now shoot some WD40in the hole where your pipe will go.8) Now take the small level and secure it to the bottom of your drill where the battery is, so that is on a flat surface on the drill. Practice some holes on a spare piece of wood, so you can make a nice level path.9) Using the slowest setting on your drill and the appropriate sized drill bit for your choice of fitting(I used 1/4 NPT, hence a 7/16 Bit). Ever so slowly use the drill bit to enlarge the hole where the oil outlet is.10) Clean the area again.11) With your tap and using your hand power(no power tools) start to work the NPT tap slowly into your block, go in half a turnand back it out a 1/4 turn.Everytime you back it out, shoot some wd40 on the TAP.12) Get that tap in about 5 full revolutions, that is all this will need. and back out slowly.13) APPLY LIBERAL amounts of DOPE to your Pipe Fitting on one sideremember Dope only goes on on the Male Threads.14) Now attach your coupler to the end with the pipe dope on the pipeand get it tight. The reason for putting the coupler on first is so you can have a thicker piece to grab onto when you are putting the fitting in you oil outlet hole.15)Apply plenty of dope to other end of pipe16) slowly work it into your new threads on aluminum block, the pipe should only go in about 5 revolutions.remember that NPT threads dont have to be tight.17) Now put some dope on your AN fitting and screw into your coupler.18) Last but not least, Attach your turbo line.Put the sumumabiatch back together and fire it up for 30 seconds. Hopefully you wont leak any oil. If you do not leak, CHANGE YOUR OIL IMMEDIATELY, in case any debris if in th e line. Enjoy
