turbo not boosting? hmmm i wonder why? come check it out!

I just bought a 89 240sx with sr20det for 3500 cames with stage 3 clutch. today i took off the turbo and take everything apart. as soon i open up the turbine a peice of melted gasket felt out and my turbine was spining. i guess the guy who own it before was a ****ing idoit .i think i bought the car for a good price, i should make alot of labor to get it working right. now all i need to do is upgrade the intercooler . hey do u guys know where i can find a cheap intercooler kit one but good quartie? btw i trying to figure out which hose to hook up my boost gauge. any help i will be greatful.

throw in a T valve on the vacuum line coming off the wastegate actuator. you can get a boost reading from that, and are you saying that a gasket was actually inside of your turbo? thats rediculous

agreed. i would hold off on any upgrades and find out what all is broken....
