turbo noise like s/c

I have aquired another t28(used) since my last one broke. Anyways after a week of driving, when i get on boost it would sound like a supercharger. A whirring whining noise. I can still hear the turbo spooling at the same time. I have checked all my couplings and they are all ok. I even did a boost leak detector that was on this board but that didnt work , all the air escape to the exhaust. So is this some sort of boost leak that I dont know of or a bad turbo? turbo boost fine, car pulls very hard at 16psi. just the loud whining noise.

Usually means there is a leak between the manifold and turbo

hey man i had the same problem...my car barly ran sounded like a geo metro with no cat. haha. i went out and tightend up 1 bolt that was lose car runs like perfect when i got it.only problem i had was thos litle nut lock thoungs by the bolts but i fixed it.
