my ka24e has 89k mileage, I use lucas oil on every oil change, my motor runs really good no engine noise, no burning oil, no nothing and I wanna boosst 10psi but my compression is....

cylinder 1... 160cylinder 2... 150cylinder 3... 160cylinder 4. ..155

Do you guys think I should boost with my compression like that? is it good enough to last and be drivealbe if i do boost and run the car as a daily driver, or should i maybe turn the boost down to like 6 and 8psi will that be more safer on it...

Plus i wanna be able to make at least 225rwhp and 230torque but i have no idea on what turbo would be best for me to get the power goals i want.

I pretty much know i wanna use dsm turbo injectors, the walbro pump, and a safc2 and i already have a front mont intercooler that can boost up to 20psi, so i'm pretty set to go and have some things straighten out expect for a turbo.

Any help and idea's will be very greatful. thanks.

Your compression is fine! We have talked about this already. And as I have said, I think you will be good with a well tuned custom T28. You should be fine with that fuel setup to support that power, just keep your a/f's safe or go with the MSD BTM ignition, and you will find reliability and a good first turbo setup.

err? T28s are pretty cheap, there are lots of places you can get them at low cost when people upgrade their blacktop SR20 turbos

What I was suggesting was using the T25 and upgrading it with the T3 compressor. You can do it in stages, and it will give you room to grow.

Why not run a small T3? probly cheaper than a fancy "T28" that all the SR guys want and better than the crap T25. Z31 turbo for the cost-effective win.

I agree with the T3 idea as that leaves room to upgrade later.

Yeah, but he is looking for a cheap turbo setup. T25 is about as cheap and quick as it gets.

yeah i'm gonna go with an srt25 i'm getting it for free because it needs a rebuild and I was talking to very well 240 pro he knows like everything and he also a t25 would be the best bet to go for fast spool for the ka24e.

Fast spool isn't the half of it. I didn't realize it needed a rebuild. That is the perfect time to upgrade. If you afford the compressor now, then I will be selling mine when I get my tax return. Then I go T04B-V trim, WOOT!

well the CA18 T25 I metion about before that turbo is fine but its for 200 bucks... So my other buddy with the blow sr20 t25 will just give it to me for free and it'll be cheaper to just rebuild that instead of buying the ca18 t25 for 200 bucks

youd really be straining a t25 to hit those power levels

Hence the idea behind the upgrade. You will have to replace the compressor wheel (likely) anyway, since it probably got jammed into the housing when the compressor seized. Man up and make a hybrid.
