Hi guys, Im not sure what to do. I have a rebilt 2.4 sohc engine on my 90 240sx. The motor has about 9,000 miles after rebuild. I wanted to know if i should put a turbo on it or sr20 it? Also if any of u know i found a turbo kit for the car but it says 94-99 240sx. Will that fit a 90?

you need the turbo kit to apply to 89-90 240sx's with the ka24e motor.

asking as question like this in this forum will get you one answer. yes tubro the ka, plus you can sr20 the ka. you can get rid of a very fresh rebuilt motor then put an sr20 in the car.

if you were to get an sr then that engine will have a good 40k+miles. your current engine only has 9k miles.

what do you think we'll say? if i say SR20, ill lose an arm, jk.

just stick with what you got and keep researching. there's plenty of SOHC Turbo resources in Canada (gladman performance, etc).

if the turbo kit company says 94-99 240sx, they prolly have no clue what they are talking about in the first place considering they werent made in 99 and there's nothing different from a 91-94. haha oh well.
