Whats going on guys. haven't posted on here in a while but could really use some advice right about now. I have a s13 with a red top sr20det swap. T28 turbo, megan manifold, stock sr 02 elbow, 3" dp and full exhaust, nismo motor and trans mounts and other random s***.

Problem is i cant get the bolts for the turbo-manifold to stay tight (i was able to get a bolt on top of one of the studs to hold the stud tight and it holds up pretty good but the other 3 just fly off randomly going down the highway. There is a bad vibration around 3200-3800 rpms coming from around the elbow- downpipe that fades as the bolts losseing up. im assuming that's due to the stiffer motor and trans mounts and to much on the exhaust.

I know i really need a flex pipe but due to losing my job not long ago, money is tight... so far locktight and locking washers have done nothing. due to this being my only car i kind of need a fix that will get me by for a few weeks while i find another job/ get some money for new parts.

i think it should be noted that the manifold already cracked one time almost clean off so i fixed it and installed all new studs and bolts when i put it back in.

you could always try something like safety wire. but you would have to probably drill holes into the nuts/studs to do it. so i guess maybe as a bottom of the barrel, last resort kind of thing till something better comes along.

You could always try jet nuts. Not the cheapest thing, but they work well.
