Hey guys I need some help here with my exhaust manifold and turbo setup.I puchased te Peak Perfromance exh. manfold a few months backand I ran into this little problem.

The intake pipe gets in the way with one of the tubes from the exhaust manifold and doesn't let the flanges from the turbo and the manifold align like they should.

The above pic has a gap only on that side, the other side sits on right. Im not sure if ones I tighten the studs that gap will close and my problem would be solved, keeping in mind that there should be a gasket in there still.

What do you guys think. I was thinking this would solve my problem but not sure.

can you not clock the turbo differently?

like. twist the housings opposite directions to clear the manifold.

you can use that spacer, or you can use the inlet off a CA18, it angles off at a different angle

There is a big C-clip on the back of the compressor housing. If you remove it, you can rotate the housing so that pipe doesn't hit the runner. Then put the c-clip back in and you'll be good to go.

You mean flip this around? I dont think its possible since the bolts are different sizes.

I am having this EXACT same problem...it's a flaw in the design of the manifold I'm thinking. Either get the blue thing you posted a picture of or turn the outlet so it faces a different direction. Just keep the long bolts where they need to go. What I'm going to do since I already have a 90 degree coupler for the outlet is just heat up that runner on the manifold and tap it in a little bit with a ball peen hammer, just enough for the turbo outlet to fit the way it was meant to.

float_6969...I'll have to check this out. A big c-clip you say? Like can you turn the compressor side independent of the exhaust side? Also, does it have to be in preset increments or can you just turn it like a quarter of an inch so the outlet clears?

I keep hearing this but, wouldn't this affect position of the hotpipe? I have a Greddy FMIC with all metal piping
