you couple rethread the block and change the oil line to a custom line to accept the larger threads

yea the only problem we saw with re threading is making sure all the pieces of metal shavings are gone.

after you rethread then use compressed air to clean out the metal

I had to rethread mine, its not that bad on the shaving. Just when you do it, go slowly and have a mini vacuum around and have someone hold it up against the thread as you're doing it. After that get a q-tip and brush out the remains towards the outside of the block.

same thing happened to me a week ago if it is a s13 red top i still have the package for the helicoil i put in mine. i can give you the size and save you the headache of getting the measurements on the bolt (p.s. try posting a pick of the bolt you stripped to see if it is the same one you are talking about)

I did the ssame thing on my old s13 . I used a pipe thread barb fitting and some fuel injection line with clamps as a quick fix, but it is still working..

look in to a product called time sert. http://www.timesert.com/ so much better than a helicoil. it will not back out. while tapping the threads use a molly lube or somthing simular, to catch the shavings. then use a several Q-tips to clean out all the lube. it worked really well for me.

This has been covered alot but hope this helped

what you're going to need to do is convert your turbo hard line to stainless steel line..1. First you need to get a 31/64" drill bit with a 3/8 shank and a close quarter drill (you can get the drill at harbor freight, drill bit try Ebay).2. You'll need a Hellicoil kit which would be 12X1.5 thread pitch3. Then go to summit and you'll need a 12X1.5 to -4 an fitting (EAR-9919BFGERL)(this fitting will be used to put into the block)4. Get a stainless steel 18 inch -4 an female on both end lines.5. go to summit and grab a 7/16 inverted flare into a -4an fitting (AER-FBM2930)(you will use this fitting to put into your turbo, if you wonder which ends go where the 7/16 go into the turbo the -4 an connect to the line)

thats what you need to fix your oil hole..

IF you want to upgrade your coolent line then this is what you needThree 3/8th to -4an (RUS-660060)(you need three because one for the block two for the turbo)Then just grap two 14" -4an stainless steel line (both female end)You will also need a -4an to a 1/4 fitting to connect the stainless steel line into the coolent line behind the head. (SUM-220755)

Good luck. when I did mine what I did was put cotton balls deep inside the oil hole and while I was drilling I would drill stop pull the cotton ball out with all the shaving put new cotton ball in, drill some more stop. etc you get the idea.
