Sorry about what might seem like such a beginner topic but I may as well be functionally retarded when it comes to turbos. (This will be my first turbo car/setup)

I'm confused on where I need to connect these lines.

There is:1 on the turbo housing2 on the wastegate1 on my manifold (ssac t3/t4 top mount; i know a lot of people say its going to crack but it was mega cheap. 50$ local)

I drew up some quick mspaint diagrams to kinda help me out. I need pictures because I'm retarded remember.

and I think this is how its supposed to be, but I'm confused as what to do with the manifold line. Plug it? Can I use it for a boost gauge? I'm not running a boost controller so I don't need that in my setup.

quick edit: just wanna say thanks to all the people on this kat forum. I've learned a lot (but still have much more to learn) and everyone has been real helpful.

Thats correct, you just need to make sure you connect to the right nipple on the waste gate

No Thats not right. Run a line from the port on your wastegate to the turbo. The other port on your wastegate is for a boost controller, but if you aren't going to use one then plug it. Don't let it vent.

The eBay top mount mani's come with a bung welded on for a EGTS(Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor). If you aren't going to use one, then plug that too. I used JB weld to plug mine.

my wastrgate has been vented to the atmosphere for 2 years - 20,000 miles and no issues . it works correctly . on my install instructions it doesnt mention any thing about pluging the other port off. it needs to breath so that the valve in side there can open and close. imo you have it drawn out correcly. go to tial sport .com and look at the waste gate install diagram in the tech. section you will see that even with a boos controller there should be a vent in the line between that port and the boost controller so im sure that port is ment to be vented.
