OK. I really hope I'm just being stupid, but here goes. I currently have a T2 Flanged GT3071R and I decided while I'm waiting on a few other parts t oget here, I can start putting a few things together. I decided to go ahead and hook my turbo lines to my turbo. The first one I start working on BOTTOMS OUT. Am I being stupid? It almost looks like a valve in there, so am I suppose to torque it down more? Is it SUPPOSE to have threads showing?

Did you torque yours in as far as it would go or did you back it out an extra thread with some locktite and a spacer or something. Since it's bottoming out, I don't want it to restrict flow...

Every one i have seen has threads showing, basically teflon tape it, tighten it until its tight and you are good.

Obviously check for leaks though when you first start it up!

Think that i tightend it down all the way and maybe loosened it a 1/4 turn. But as omega said just teflon tape it and look for any leaks for smoke.
