im looking to buy a turbo kit for my 1990 240sx, there are several kits that look good but they say for 1995-1998 and are OBDII compliant, can i use those kits on my 240sx?

Right now i think im gonna go with the Real Nissan Full Turbo kit at 3500$ But I can get the greddy kit for 2200$ and the intercooler kit for 600$ but it is for the the OBDII 95+ cars so i would like to know if i will be able to use it? or what i have to do to be able to use it.

I tried to get a Real Nissan kit for my 89 240SX but had no luck. They are hard to get in touch with, and don't return calls, emails, etc. Now - I did get a turbo kit, awesome one, with all the piping, t3/t4 hybrid and IC (with piping), all in one kit with an adjustable external wastegate, and Greddy blow-off for under $3700. you can't beat the price or the quality. Whole thing is powder coated and welds are ground down - looks way cool. We are installing it now and should have it up and running in another day or so. I would go to import_autoperformance.com and talk to Marc Mangiarelli. Tell him Gene and Chris sent you. You will see our car there soon I expect. The guy is great, he is always accessible and walks you through the entire process- the kind of support you dream of. Good luck with your turbo install - be patient and leave a lot of time. Be sure you stay under 7psi unless you intend to go with a fuel management system and forged pistons/rods - or you will turn that KA into mush in no time. Otherwise your stock injectors (could do with a cleaning and balancing at RC Engineering for $125 - well worth the insurance), and your stock ECU will handle the turbo. You can dyno it and send the results to Jim Wolf, along with your ECU and he will update it to take off the rev limiter and re-do your fuel map to maximize your HP. We will be getting about 300 at the fw, 250 at the wheels. That's twice the stock KA24E. Ciao man -
