I've seen only a few good auto TT setups in both Z and G35's (not that they suck but because it's rare), most of them being the Greddy kit.

I would say a 3300 stall torque converter and an upgraded valve body for the auto trans would be a good start.

Turbo kits are not transmission specific. You can put the same turbo kit on either a car with a manual or an automatic transmission. That doesn’t mean that one kit isn’t better than the other based on the transmission. But, if a kit is made for your car (year, make, model) it doesn’t matter what transmission you have.

Not always true. It depends on the turbo manifold. When I started investigating TT kits for my G, I was told by Greddy that their system at the time would not clear the 5AT bell housing. So I went with GTM.

The best thing to do is contact the kit's maker.

Most forced induction (turbo and supercharger) kits for these cars will work with an automatic.

a conservatively tuned 5AT sedan.
