So after a long night of trouble shooting it looks like the carbon seal in the compressor side of my center housing went bad. And I think the cause of it was a crappy filter I was using that came with a MAF from Japan. Stupid thing probably would still be running strong if I would have just put a new air filter on it.

Oh well, good thing I have about 275 of these turbos laying around. :ylsuper

BTW, anybody want a T25? I'll sell them cheap. Brand new :D Might have to swap your compressor housing so that new piping isn't required on the hot pipe.

Man, I wasn't getting any emails for replies on this. Must have forgot to check the box. Info on the T25's I have: They are brand new and have the same a/r ratios as the stock turbo. But the compressor housing has 2 slip-on flanges instead of 1 slip-on and one bolt-on. The biggest difference however (I realized while I was proceeding with my plan) is all the fittings are different. I can sell them for $220 shipped in the US. But be aware, you will need new oil and water fittings and either a new hot pipe adapter or swapt the compressor housings.

I actually ended up just stealing the turbo from my hachi roku to put my engine back together. Holy crap that GT28R is tight on space on the CA.
