Ok so basically im going to be installing my turbo very soon, and ran into a problem. From the attached pic, I see MovingViolation240 has his filter directly attached to the turbo.....how is it that it doesn't melt it? I was planning on using pieces of my current HKS SMF Intake to do it, but if I just directly bolt it onto the turbo like that, it wouldn't melt??

The compressor side of a turbo is much cooler than the turbine side. The same silicone connector used to attach a pipe would be used to attach the filter. The air is going into the turbo through the filter. I see no way the filter would melt. Underhoof temps should not be hot enough to melt it...
